DINNER MADE EASY FROM KROGER'S DELI DEPARTMENT

The Kroger Co. Family of Stores provides many meal solutions. From baked and rotisserie chicken to trays of hot tenders and wings. The deli department can cover everything from tonight’s dinner to a nice family picnic. And with the added convenience of finding refreshing Coca-Cola products right by the Deli counter in some stores, dinner just got way easier.

The Kroger Co. Family of Stores guarantees that its Deli chicken offerings will be hot and fresh every day from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., or it’s FREE! These hours are extended in some areas, so check your local store for details.

As a BzzAgent member, I was able to review the Kroger deli fried chicken for free. The chicken meal came with two wings, legs, thighs and breasts. We were also able to get a 1.25 liter of soda (Coke product) and a bag of kettle chips. I also purchased a side of mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese for our two side dishes. The breast meat was a bit dry and the breading was slightly salty. However, I do appreciate that Kroger’s Deli chicken is always prepared fresh, using quality chicken, a special hand breading recipe, and it is 100% trans-fat free.

Although the chips didn’t quite go with the fried chicken meal, I did enjoy this meal. I will continue to purchase from Kroger’s Deli, however, next time I will purchase the rotisserie chicken and baked chicken as they are much healthier.

Tastykake® Kandy Bar Kakes

I recently received a Kandy Bar Kake from Tastykakes in my Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox and I was super excited about it. I absolutely love cake and chocolate, and this snack has both!

Here’s what the Influenster site has to say about this product:

I received the Peanut Butter Kandy Bar, which uses real Reese’s peanut butter. I couldn’t really taste the peanut butter flavor so that was a little disappointing; however, it was still pretty delicious. I can’t wait to try the other flavors!

Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Rough Rubber Paste

I got a full-size of Schwarzkopf Professional OSIS+ Rough Rubber paste in the mail from Influenster for free to test and review a couple of weeks ago.

When I first received the Rough Rubber, I was a little confused as to how I could use a product like this with my hair length and style. Luckily, I came across some Schwarzkopf blog posts on Tumbler and Twitter and they suggested three methods for use:

· First, using it on the ends of my hair scrunching it while it’s dry to achieve the “slightly beachy, mostly sexy” waves that are super popular right now.

· Second, heating Rough Rubber by rubbing it between my palms until the consistency is thinner, then gently apply it just at the ends of the hair for a piece-y, messy hair / don’t care style.

· Third, rubbing Rough Rubber between your palms to heat and thin the product. Massage Rough Rubber on your root area working from underneath your hair to build big, textured volume.

My favorite method however, is applying Rough Rubber to my entire hair after my shower while my hair is still damp, letting it air dry and curl the ends. The result is piecey, beachy looking curls with lots of volume. I would have never have picked up this product on my own but now that I have I’m in love. My only complaint about this product is the smell; I did not really care for it and unfortunately the scent lingers until you wash it off. Nonetheless, I will purchase this product after I run out of my sample.

Packaging

Each package of imPRESS Press-On Manicure comes with 24 press-on nails in 12 different sizes and an alcohol prep pad. Each nail is preglued and lined with a plastic film to peel away prior to application. They come in a large variety of gorgeous colors and patterns so it’s easy to find a set for any mood and occasion. The packaging itself is pretty adorable: a clear bottle with a black lid made to look like a bottle of nail polish.

This product is a one-time use only. It retails for $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns, and are available at CVS, Rite Aid, KMart, Walgreens, and Walmart.

Pros:

§ Easy application and removal- the adhesive is already applied to the underside of the nail. Just peel off the plastic tab and stick over the clean and prepped nail. To remove, simply peel them off.

§ Will not damage the natural nails during the application or removal process.

§ Large variety of gorgeous colors and designs so it’s easy to find one that matches your personality and taste.

§ No drying time

§ Great for special occasions, travel, or for in-between manicures.

§ Easy storage, the super cute container makes is easy to blend in with any nail polish collection.

Cons:

§ Even though there are a lot of sizes, 12 in all, the largest size did not fit my thumb nails. I have very large nail beds and this product barely covered my natural nails.

§ Product is marketed as being able to stay on for up to a week but mine only lasted 2 days or 4 if you use the Broadway Nail Jet Dry Nail Glue.

Overall these nails would be great for people with small fingernails. They are great to have for a special one night event or a special occasion. However, I will not be purchasing imPRESS Press-On Nails as this product does not come in my size.

Final Verdict = 5 out of 10

Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant

I recently received a Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant in my Spring Fever VoxBox from Influenster . This was the product that I was most interested in trying from my VoxBox since I had not used a women’s deodorant on a regular basis in over 8 years. They simply don’t work for me. I’m a very active person and I sweat a lot. Because of this, I have tried a HUGE variety of women’s deodorant but nothing has worked for me. The coverage of them is either too weak, which leads to sweat and embarrassing odor, or they leave horrible white marks on my clothes which is super frustrating.

I have worn gel deodorants for many years, Mitchum Mens Power Gel Unscented, but I do alternate that with Old Spice Fiji which has a very fresh scent, not masculine at all. I can also get away with using Secret Clinical Strength Stress Sweat Protection for a short period of time, but I do have to switch back to men’s deodorant because my body gets used to it and the coverage tends to fade over time.

Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant is by far the best clear gel made for women that I have ever tried. This deodorant works great and really does last all day; however, I still need to apply it every day instead of every 48 hours. This product kept me fresh and dry throughout my Vegas and San Diego vacation. Even when the weather exceeded 100 °F, no other women’s deodorant has ever performed like that for me in the past. I was pretty impressed! I would totally recommend this deodorant to my friends and family. It will last all day and it will not rub-off - no white marks!

Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System

I think my neighbors contacted Jono and BzzAgent to nominate me for this campaign! I'm usually not the best with plants, and I live in a neighborhood that is very concerned with “curb appeal”. My neighbors spend so much time on their yards and it shows. But frankly I’m a nurse; I keep people alive, plants on the other hand, not so much! Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash

I recently got the chance to try Ivory 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash courtesy of Influenster. This product is excellent when you're traveling, in a rush, to throw in your gym bag, or for someone who just wants to get in and out of the shower fast: Eco-conscious! At first I was thinking about putting it in the boy’s shower but I decided to try it myself in an effort to write an in-depth, honest review.

In the past, I’ve had poor experiences with all-in-one type products so I was expecting this product to be the same as the rest. After using Ivory 2-in1 my long, dry, color treated hair was left unexpectedly soft. My curls were shiny and frizz free. I catch myself touching my hair often because I love how soft and light it feels. I do however; still use a deep conditioner to protect my hair color. My favorite part is that it has a clean and gentle scent that is not too overpowering. I also enjoy the thick consistency, it lathers very nicely, and it is very gentle. It leaves my skin clean and soft without over drying it. I still need to apply my usual thick moisturizer as my skin is super dry, however Ivory 2-in-1 did not aggravate this condition which is amazing!

I truly enjoy Ivory 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash. It has saved me time, money, and it keeps my shower clutter-free. Did I mention that it is also very affordable?! I would recommend this product for those of us that travel frequently as it can serve as 5 products in 1(shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bubble bath, and shaving cream). I will be repurchasing this product because it is very convenient and it work. Great job Ivory!
